ACE Biotek and Tri-Service General Hospital Songshan Branch have joined forces to advance smart healthcare and AI technology. On May 21, 2024, the two parties signed a MOU to enhance cooperation in digital information systems, clinical applications, and medical information security, aiming to create mutual value and improve healthcare efficiency.

Tri-Service General Hospital Songshan Branch, under the jurisdiction of the Medical Affairs Bureau and formerly known as the Songshan Armed Forces General Hospital, is a critical institution in developing aviation medicine for the Air Force. Director Jenq-Shyong Chan stated, “Our hospital team has high hopes for the digital medical workflow. By introducing ACE Biotek’s advanced AI smart healthcare technology and connecting with ACE’s outstanding engineering teams both domestically and internationally, we can fully digitize the hospital, improve the workload and efficiency of healthcare personnel, and enhance the healthcare provided to military personnel and the public. This collaboration will lead our hospital towards significant milestones in digital healthcare and ESG net-zero transformation.”

ACE Group, with over 20 years of experience in wireless communication software and hardware integration, leads the way in domestically and internationally electronic medical records solutions. ACE Biotek integrates medical instruments into telemedicine, ophthalmology, and dental big data applications. President Steve Hsu emphasized, “This MOU with Tri-Service General Hospital Songshan Branch combines the expertise of scientists, doctors, and engineers, providing a more comprehensive medical software and hardware system and strengthening medical information security. This collaboration will help protect the health of people in the Taipei area. ACE Biotek is also committed to developing non-destructive medical testing and non-invasive patient physiological monitoring technologies, integrating innovative thinking from healthcare professionals to offer early medical diagnoses and foster holistic health.”

The collaboration also includes a visit to the Aviation Medical Building. In the future, it will align with government medical policies and aviation medical missions, taking on the significant responsibility of flight safety medical care and safeguarding the health and safety of the military and local civilians. Both parties hope that this collaboration will accelerate the AI smart healthcare and precision medical big data application capabilities of the Songshan Branch, making it a leading practitioner of smart hospitals in Taiwan.
