The event drew officials from various industries, academia, and the healthcare sector to the opening ceremony and nearly 200 international visitors. Many guests, such as Kaohsiung Deputy Mayor Lin Chin-Rong, the Director of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Health Bureau representatives, and hospital IT managers, visited the ACE Biotek booth to explore the Spark Surgical Anesthesia System. By leveraging digital technologies, the system achieves structured data management and paperless processes, significantly improving healthcare efficiency and precision in collaboration. Additionally, it offers a comprehensive integration of anesthesia data throughout the surgical process, from physiological monitors to anesthesia machine data, providing real-time recording and seamless data flow. This high-level integration enables smooth interfacing with hospital HIS, surgical systems, and billing systems while combining medical AI and big data to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy, supporting hospitals in achieving efficient and standardized intelligent surgery management.

4/20 ACE Group Joins National Taiwan Ocean University for Beach Cleanup, Creating a Beautiful Coastline

(Hsinchu, Taiwan – April 20, 2024) – ACE Group held its annual beach cleanup event on April 20 at the HSIN FENG Beach in Hsinchu. The event was attended by employees, their families, and students from National Taiwan Ocean University, all coming together to protect the marine environment through practical action.

ACE Group has been committed to environmental protection for many years. Since 2010, they have adopted the HSIN FENG Beach in Hsinchu and have organized regular cleanup activities every year, calling on employees and their families to join in protecting the coastline. In commemoration of its 20th anniversary, ACE Group expanded its efforts by collaborating with National Taiwan Ocean University to conduct the beach cleanup, combining professional knowledge and action to contribute to marine conservation.

On the day of the event, participants, including colleagues and family members, worked hard to pick up litter, including plastic bottles, bags, Styrofoam, and cigarette butts. After two hours of effort, they cleared dozens of trash bags, significantly contributing to cleaning up the marine environment.

Hsinchu, Taiwan – February 20, 2024 – ACE Biotek has been invited by the Hsinchu Science Park Bureau to be one of the essential venues for visiting the US biomedical field. Three distinguished scholars, including Dr. Jason Liauw, spine and neurosurgery authority from Stanford University Medical Center, biomedical engineer Lilibeth Martinez from Brown University, and Nicholas Hu, Chairman and General Manager of TEPKOS, visited for the event.

ACE Biotek’s journey from 3C to medical care extends from its 20-year experience in strong wireless communication, 5G, IoT, and other hardware and software integration testing to smart medical care and biomedical testing. The three guests were deeply impressed by the cultural impact of ACE Biotek’s art gallery. They visited the special exhibition of inorganic materials and calligraphy at the Industrial Technology Research Institute, experiencing Chinese art through calligraphy, integrating art and imagination into the work of technologists.

Dr. JC Chen, Vice President of Research and Development at ACE Biotek, shared the application of Terahertz technology. Terahertz technology, or submillimeter wave, is between 5G millimeter wave and infrared, with a wavelength of 0.03-3mm. It can efficiently penetrate and see through objects, with the characteristics of non-contact and non-destructive, and is widely used in pill and cell imaging detection.

ACE Biotek has signed MOUs with dozens of partners. This visit will help to consolidate cross-border cooperation between Taiwan and the United States in the biomedical industry and among researchers.

To promote collaboration in the integration of smart healthcare information systems, AI technology, and clinical applications, ACE Biotek and Taichung Armed Forces General Hospital signed a MOU on December 7, 2023, followed by an on-site visit. The event was led by Director Chen Ying-Kai, with Vice Director Jane-Dar Lee and other chief physicians present for the exchange.

The collaboration between the two parties originated from an earlier healthcare system alliance event this year—the alliance aimed to facilitate cooperation between industry, academia, research, and the medical field. Following a visit and experiential activities led by the Department of Internal Medicine and the Research Department of Taichung Armed Forces General Hospital, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on smart healthcare. Subsequently, they formalized their collaboration by signing the MOU and outlining plans for future cooperation.

As part of the MOU and visit, ACE Biotek arranged a special presentation showcasing smart healthcare products, including the UniiForm Digital Handwriting System, InfinityAI & Einthoven ECG patch, applications of smart upload systems (ophthalmology, anesthesia, physiological monitors), sharing on trauma care and military medical practices, and Terahertz (THz) detection technology.
